Rob Fix's Profile

Chief Financial Officer for MTM Luxury Lodging with significant responsibilities in MTM’s sister company, FST Asset Management.

Prior to joining MTM / FST in 2003, Rob was the CFO of Trillium Corporation. Based in Bellingham, Washington, Trillium is a real estate holding and development company specializing in timber, hospitality and commercial real estate. Trillium has holdings in Colorado, Alaska, Washington, Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Venezuela. As CFO, Rob was responsible for the finance/accounting department, negotiating and replacing debt, negotiating real estate transactions, and structuring a joint venture involving Resort Semiahmoo. Trillium’s hospitality holdings reported to Rob, as well. Prior to transferring to Trillium’s corporate headquarters, Rob was the Director of Finance for its subsidiary, Resort Semiahmoo.

In addition to finance, Rob has held several development and acquisitions positions including Director of Development for Interstate Hotels; Director of Development for Doubletree Hotels and Development Analyst for Red Lion Hotels. Early in Rob’s career, he held the position of Controller for several Pacific Northwest Red Lion properties, in addition to the West Coast Roosevelt Hotel in Seattle.
Active on the Washington State Hotel and Lodging Association’s board of Directors, Rob will be its 2007 – 2008 Chairman. Accomplishments on this board include service on the finance committee and establishing a hotel specific Labor and Industries “retro” program. Rob is a graduate of Washington State University’s Hotel and Restaurant School. Rob is married with two young children, and resides in Bellingham.
